by Regione Toscana
MITA Academy’s professional courses offer a highly qualified technical education in the fashion industry. Our programmes are co-funded by MIUR and the Regional Government of Tuscany: therefore, students can get access to biennial courses paying only a registration fee.
For this reason, every course has a limited number for a maximum of 25 participants. In order to become a MITA student it is necessary to go through a selection process, whose eligibility criteria are listed below:
To access MITA’s courses it is necessary:
-to be between 18 and 29 years of age;
-to be in possession of a diploma in upper-secondary level education;
-to have command of the English language equal at least to ALTE1 level of Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning (CEFR), which will be tested at the moment of application;
-to have an appropriate level of “computer literacy”;
-to have notions of word processing and spreadsheets;
-to submit application within the deadline set by the national call (for more information, go to the courses pages);
-to pass the selection test.
The documents required for the selection process (announcement of selection, application form and list of files to include in the application) are contained in the specific page of each course.
Those who submit their application within the deadline set by the national call, and are in possession of the criteria listed above, will be admitted to the entrance tests.
The selection will be made through written and oral tests. The interview will value not only the candidate’s education, but also his/her motivation to pursue a course of study in the fashion industry.
In more detail, the assessment of candidates will be carried out as follows:
– general knowledge test, aimed at verifying technical/technological/computer skills;
– English language knowledge exam (test and interview);
– interview intended to evaluate the candidate’s personal motivation to attend the course.
